About Mary Elizabeth
I am a southern girl originally from Baton Rouge Louisiana. I was very fortunate to grow up in a musical household. This musical theater nerd was lucky to have a pianist for a father and a voice teacher for a mother. My parents instilled the power of theater in me from an early age, and later that passion brought me to Oklahoma City University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater.
I have toured and performed with regional theaters across the nation. Along with my pursuit of a musical theater career, I have a full voice studio of students ranging from ages ten to fifty-five, which keeps me very busy. I absolutely love sharing my passion and knowledge with my students and watching them grow as artists themselves.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Philia)
"Drake's Philia is the greatest brainless beauty character since Amanda Seyfried in Mean Girls (and yes, Drake DOES outdo Heather Morris's hysterical turn as the idiot savant Brittany on GLEE)." -Greg Kerestan, Broadwayworld.com
The Fantasticks (Luisa)
"Drake had a beautiful and dynamic voice which hit and held many high notes. She excelled as Luisa......Drake is a rising star!"- Rick Handler, Entertainment Central Pittsburgh
"Drake's voice spins perfectly between legit soprano and modern musical theatre, never once going into the glass-shatteringly precious, airy-fairy mode so common among Luisas." -Greg Kerestan, Broadwayworld.com
